BURJ AL ARAB

Arising out of the waters on its own man-made island, the sail soars 321 metres (1,050 feet) high. Dominating the impressive Dubai coastal skyline, Burj Al Arab has become an icon of luxury and prosperity. Built in the shape of an Arabian dhow sail, this five-star deluxe hotel, located some 280 metres (920 feet) offshore, is the ultimate refuge.
Acknowledged as the world’s most luxurious hotel, as well as the world’s tallest hotel building, it was built with groundbreaking technology. Architects rose to the enormous challenge and created the iconic sail façade using Teflon-coated fibreglass, the first time such material has been used vertically and to such an extent. Burj Al Arab is not only visually spectacular from the outside, its interior is equally, if not more breathtaking. Only the finest materials, the most intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail can be found within.
